Perry Mundy
LPTA, CPed, CFo
I have lived in the Lynchburg area for almost 40 years, graduating from New Covenant Schools, receiving my bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Liberty University, and then my Associate of Applied Science as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA. In addition to practicing as an LPTA for over 15 years in a variety of settings, I have been a Certified Pedorthist since 2010, having received my credentialing through the American Board of Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics.
I have a strong background in foot and ankle pathomechanics that I rely on to provide the most appropriate and specific device for each individual problem. I constantly strive to increase my knowledge base and received my Orthotic Fitter certification through the ABC so I can provide over-the-counter orthoses to individuals in need of such devices.
I have a passion for athletics, having played collegiate soccer at Virginia Intermont College, and coached soccer in the Lynchburg area for almost 20 years. I participate in CrossFit and Spartan activities regularly as well as enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife Kelly, dog Remi, and two daughters Mara and Avery.
I believe in providing quality patient care as well as the best product for each individual because I myself have been a patient many times and wear my own foot orthotics to address the myriad of issues that have plagued me in my active lifestyle.
